Warren’s friends call him Mr. Good Housekeeper and marvel at his decorating ideas. “People ask me how they can do something similar to my designs,” he said. “And I tell them, just follow the rules.”

Many of Warren’s design ideas are simple, but effective. For example, one large picture frame hanging on the wall is a great place for floral accents. He has created a unique geometric pattern featuring blocks of red bricks arranged in a grid. By using just a few well placed red bricks, Barnett has created an appealing focal point that features color. The only tools you will need are paint, paper and a sharpie marker.
